About
Amorati Diamonds is an online jewelry brand specializing in lab-grown diamonds, with a fresh perspective on traditional fine jewelry. I led the brand's visual development from the ground up, creating a comprehensive identity that extended across e-commerce, packaging, social media, and digital communications. In collaboration with a copywriter, I also helped establish the brand's voice and messaging.
The Starting Point
As a new, exclusively online business, Amorati needed an identity that would distinguish it within the fine jewelry market while building trust with customers. The challenge was to create a brand that felt elevated and timeless without relying on the conventions of traditional luxury jewelry. Every touchpoint, from the website to the unboxing experience, needed to communicate a consistent and recognizable personality.
Developing the Identity
The visual identity balances the elegance of fine jewelry with a more expressive, contemporary approach. At its center is a custom logomark formed from four intersecting diamonds, creating a geometric bloom that represents individuality, connection, and intention.
A rich palette of deep purple, forest green, and warm neutrals, paired with contrasting serif and sans-serif typography, established a visual language that feels refined without being conventional. Comprehensive brand guidelines and photography and videography direction further defined the identity, emphasizing tactile imagery, candid moments, and editorial storytelling over traditional product-focused luxury photography.
The Brand in Practice
The identity was translated into a cohesive digital and physical brand experience, including a fully designed e-commerce website, social media templates, packaging, and supporting marketing materials. Each application was developed to balance visual expression with clarity and consistency, creating a recognizable presence across the customer journey.
For an online-only business, the relationship between digital and physical experiences was especially important. The website introduced customers to Amorati's distinctive perspective, while the packaging extended that identity into a more personal, tangible experience.
Together, these elements created a unified foundation for Amorati, establishing a visual identity designed to feel both contemporary and enduring.
